Paul Grech, Jr.

Paul Grech, Jr. is one of California’s most distinguished criminal defense attorneys with over 24 years of experience in the area of criminal law. Among the 125,000 or more of the state’s criminal lawyers, Mr. Grech is one of only several hundred who is a Bar Certified Criminal Law Specialist. He has handled all types of criminal cases from misdemeanor theft and drunk driving charges to sex crimes and capital murder, and can offer the most competent criminal defense to increase the chances of a favorable outcome.

Before helping clients as a criminal defense lawyer, Mr. Grech served his community as Deputy District Attorney, where he spent more than 6 years negotiating plea bargains and prosecuting bench and jury trials in a wide range of misdemeanor and felony cases. Education / Honors

Mr. Grech received his Bachelor of Science with honors in 1979 from State University of New York. In 1982, he graduated from Southwestern University School of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar, and in 1996, the U.S. District Court Central District of California. Mr. Grech also holds the prestigious AV rating by Martindale Hubbell.  Mr. Grech is nationally ranked as “preeminent” in the field of criminal law.  Mr. Grech has been designated as a “Trial Master” by the Leo A. Deegan Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

As a practicing attorney, Mr. Grech knows how important it is to stay current and active in his field and has therefore taken post-graduate courses at the National Criminal Defense College and the Institute for Criminal Defense Advocacy. Additionally, Mr. Grech frequently lectures on his area of expertise around the state and has served as a coach and an instructor for the Riverside County Mock Trial Championship Team.
